This time I went to RTP instead, stood at the Wingate hotel near the testing site, for 2 days before the exam, doing one full scale lab a day to study, and not studying on the day before the exam. Again, I felt pretty good to ahead and pass, but this time I missed the mark by 3 tasks instead of the 2 from my first attempt. I finished the exam in 5.5 hrs, but had a lot of problems with the vpn section, main reason is I didn’t practice the kind of scenario that appeared on the exam enough times to know things backward, ended up losing a lot of points in the ACS section although I thought I had it hands down. Worst of all, did a few minor mistakes that costed me the passing score, for a second time, it’s really frustrating to fail at a difficult exam like this by short points and still realize what your mistakes were, again, the main problem kept being that I was too nervous, couldn’t take it easy and the whole time I was in high speed, it’s difficult to see what mistakes you are making when you can’t slow down.

Anyways, I jumped into the hodiday’s mood, trying to take it as easy as I could, got me booked for a third attempt, at SJ cause RTP doesn’t have dates soon enough. This time I have taken time to relax and not overburn myself like I’ve done previously, I will pressure myself properly this time, enough to pass, but not too much so I can stay more focused on small details in this third attempt.
